CanalAbility celebrated its 25th Anniversary in 2014. We have developed a new web site which will allow you to get the information you need more quickly. Take a look at http://canalboat.org.uk. We are also developing new ways for you to be able to interact with us and keep in touch.

Photo Competition
You will see on our new web site that we have used a lot of your pictures to explain just how much fun a canal boat experience is. We are always looking out for more so in the near future we are announcing a photo competition. First prize will be a four hour trip on our flagship boat Stort Daybreak. You will need to have booked with us before to take part. Look out on our website Twitter feed or Facebook page for announcements.

CanalAbility is a registered charity providing facilities which enable people of ALL abilities undertake boating activities on the inland waterways and experience the benefits and enjoyment these provide. These benefits include supporting and promoting independence, social inclusion, personal development and well-being by providing opportunities to participate in social and educational activities acquiring new skills and confidence regardless of disability limitations. We provide boating holidays, day trips and themed activity days on purpose built fully accessible boats on the waterways in Essex, Hertfordshire and London. We provide our services to people of all ages and our clients include community groups, youth organisations, families, carers, disability and disability support groups.
