Yachting Service - Excursions - Disabled Access Holidays
The initiative not only means removing physical obstacles from the boats and in the daily lives of those who have disabilities, but also create opportunities for meeting, open new doors to entertainment, sport, allowing socializing, creating common moments between people who they need and others that can work together to meet them.
Marco Carani Nautica "Yachting Service" started this journey with the Fish and Unitalsi organizing July 12, 2015 a day of coastal trips to the disabled. E 'was launching the first "Pugliese" project for a motor boat with reduced barrier, I would say almost absent.
In 2015, only with my resources, I ran and looked after a complete refitting the boat I expanded and retooled to allow participation, including people with disabilities, the nautical activities - seamanship. The launching of the boat "Euphoria" was held July 12, 2015 in the Tourist Marina Villanova Ostuni (BR), in the splendid sea of Salento, in Apulia.
- The vessel used is the yard HARRYS American production Kajot of type "poonton boat". It has a length of mt. 7.50 .It 'been certified by R.I..N.A. for passenger transport for max. 12 people, or 3/4 with disabilities and their carers. The same is equipped with an aperture in the bow which, by means of a slide which also allows disabled people to easily access and position, in the reserved points, close to its companion or family. E 'equipped with rescue and safety measures for all persons on board, thanks to a ladder, you can also take to the water and back. It 'has a large awning to protect guests from the sun, and a central table to organize aperitifs and snacks. Background music rejoices and makes it unique all excursions. - "Euphoria" takes us along the Salento coast with stops in the most beautiful coves accessible only by sea. It can admire a pristine area, which ranges from beaches to rocky cliffs. and dotted with ancient coastal buildings. Aboard Euphoria you can experience unique emotions. You can organize smaller events, such as birthdays, anniversaries and custom celebrations, in full freedom, cheered by the music of folk groups and local storyteller, and with the opportunity to taste the typical gastronomic specialties that our staff if necessary serves on board of administer typical aperitifs, wines and culinary delights always in the name of the traditions of our "Puglia".
