EBG (Experience Bremerhaven, Tourism, Marketing and Events Company Ltd.) is responsible for tourism, city marketing and events. We are a professional, competent, careful, performance oriented and innovative partner. EBG has extensive EU project experience. Digitization, the use of new technologies, sustainability, accessibility (Travel for All), preservation of cultural heritage as well as the cultural and creative industries are important areas of current and future interest.

The municipal company EBG, department Bremerhaven Tourist Board, is the central point of contact for all matters relating to the tourism and development in Bremerhaven. We act as professional and innovative partners for tourist offers, events, fairs and organisations at the Seaside City of Bremerhaven. We see ourselves as competent, careful and output orientated partners and service providers.

Bremerhaven Tourist board is closely connected to the tourism boards of the surrounding regions via various thematic task forces, joint projects, marketing and services. The Bremerhaven tourist board provides infrastructure, promotional and marketing to promote cycling, walking and increased the use of public transport. Furthermore EBG also deals with all aspects of culture and tourism.

We are a public authority with large commuting volumes from the rural area around Bremerhaven which is the biggest German city at the North Sea coast and therefore key employment and business center for the region.
We are the project delivery partner for Regional and National funding programs, aiing to link up all cycling, walking and public transport links in our towns.

City marketing department, together with other drivers of urban development (specialist departments & stakeholders), identifies key areas for the city, handles tasks in cooperation with them, concentrates more strategically different skills in the city and makes the qualities of the city visible with one voice.
The city marketing wants to act as a motor and moderator in the process of the further development of the city from the perspective of its stakeholders and with them. In this process, the citizens have to take part in the discussion processes, as well as to participate actively and transparently in the concrete project implementation.
