In the Rural Core of La Bazana, a unique setting, between meadows and streams near the River Ardila, a tributary of the Guadiana, you can find Hacienda Arroyo la Plata. Located just five minutes from Jerez de los Caballeros (Badajoz), hometown of the discoverers Vasco Nuñez de Balboa y Hernando de Soto, is also a city of cultures since it gave shelter to Jews, Muslims and Christians, and was the last stronghold of the Orden del Temple. The paths invite you to be lost taking a walk, where you will certainly spot a stork, a heron, turtles, foxes, ... Our facilities are in full corridor area SPA (Special Protection Area for birds) and are surrounded by pastures where they breed and fattened the Iberian pig. The core of La Bazana has the typical white facades of villages in the south, the people are friendly and welcoming, dedicated to cultivation and livestock farming.
