Paris Convention and Visitors Bureau
Service Details
The Paris Convention and Visitors Bureau is a non-profit organization established in 1971. The Bureau carries out three missions: it welcomes both the general public and tourism industry professionals to Paris, serves as an information resource, and promotes Paris, in France and abroad, as an ideal destination for leisure and business travel. Moreover, the Bureau acts as a platform for encounters, exchanges, and partnerships for Parisian tourism operators. Since 2002, the Paris Convention and Visitors Bureau has been contributing to the development of the accessible tourism offer in Paris: - The Bureau encourages and helps its Parisian professional members to improve access to their establishments and activities (accommodation, restaurants, museums, shopping centres, etc). - The Bureau promotes accessible touristic sites on PARISINFO.com (seven specific files), with publications (Accessible Paris 2014-2015), during events, etc. - And the Bureau welcomes and provides information for disabled visitors.
