South Tyrol for all – Accessible tourism in the holiday area South Tyrol – Dolomites in Italy.
The project is as an example of best practice. It was realised by the social cooperative “independent L.” (L stands for Living), an organisation which over the years has monitored and evaluated accessibility of touristic facilities in one of the most beautiful Italian regions: South Tyrol – Dolomites.

Our bilingual (German and Italian) portal offers verified information on the accessibility of hotels, restaurants, monuments, leisure activities, lift systems, railway lines, specialized services, etc.

We have published a specialized South Tyrol hiking guide with 45 selected and tested hikes. These are described with detailed information on accessibility for families with prams, seniors, people with disabilities, sporty and less sporty nature lovers. We have also created a free app called "Parking Space Finder" for iOS and Android to promote personal mobility for people with disabilities and help them find their next parking space among the most reserved parking spaces in South Tyrol.
