Tokyo Universal Tourism Center

Purpose of the organization: Travel accessibility information for elderly people as well as people with disabilities is still limited or scattered and it is not easy to find out the information suited to one's specific needs. We, Tokyo Universal Tourism Center, are involved in supporting those information needs as well as the physical support needs so that people with specific access needs enjoy going out and travelling easily. This is the prime mission of the organization. Our second mission is to increase the number of people who are readily available for supporting people with these needs and keep updating their skills and knowledge. Furthermore, we aim to 1) support those elderly and people with disabilities in work/study/having fun by connecting the outside world, 2) raise the awareness of the society in general toward the world of the "Normalization".
