Navigating a new city should be about the sights and the culture, not the stress of finding a place to park.

My name is Nicklas Eriksson, and I created Handipark to solve a problem that hit very close to home.

My mother lives in Sweden and often visits me here in Norway. Because she has a disabled parking permit, my mother frequently struggled to find available, accessible spots in unfamiliar areas. In my spare time, I developed Handipark to help people navigate more easily. What started as a personal project for my mother has now grown into a tool designed to help an entire community.

Handipark uses live data from the Norwegian Public Roads Administration (Statens Vegvesen), ensuring that the information is always current.

Whether you are a local resident or a tourist visiting Norway's beautiful fjords and cities, Handipark helps you find a spot that fits your specific needs.

As a Pantou Accessible Tourism Supplier, you are most probably a "de facto" service provider for the growing "Silver Economy".

The EU-funded SENIOR ECO-NECT project invites you to add your business to the interactive map of suppliers in Europe who cater for seniors - in all aspects of tourism, linking to sport, healthy ageing, social care and other areas of the silver economy.

Being visible on the map will give you access to many potential partners in the silver economy and connect you to business incubators and networks at regional, national and European levels.

With over 345,000 electric vehicles (EVs) and in excess of 650,000 plug-in hybrids (PHEVs) on UK roads at the end of October 2021, it’s fair to say the nation is adopting the transition towards a cleaner means of travel. But how accurately does this represent the relationship between EVs and those with accessibility requirements?
