Navigating a new city should be about the sights and the culture, not the stress of finding a place to park.

My name is Nicklas Eriksson, and I created Handipark to solve a problem that hit very close to home.

My mother lives in Sweden and often visits me here in Norway. Because she has a disabled parking permit, my mother frequently struggled to find available, accessible spots in unfamiliar areas. In my spare time, I developed Handipark to help people navigate more easily. What started as a personal project for my mother has now grown into a tool designed to help an entire community.

Handipark uses live data from the Norwegian Public Roads Administration (Statens Vegvesen), ensuring that the information is always current.

Whether you are a local resident or a tourist visiting Norway's beautiful fjords and cities, Handipark helps you find a spot that fits your specific needs.

Last September, Disabled Accessible Travel a leading European accessible travel agent, introduced a mobile app called accessaloo. It is a user-generated content application that helps users to find suitable accessible toilets on the go. It also allows them to add and share accessible toilets they are familiar with, with the world.

Those benefits include:
